Authors are obligated to send the scientific work intended for publication in an electronic form as a text file (.doc, .docx, .odt) via KUL Journal Platform – CzasKUL on the basis of notices announced and within deadlines for the submission of texts specified by the Editors. The work should be prepared in accordance with editorial requirements.

In the case of multi-author publications, the Editors requests the disclosure of the contribution of individual authors to the publication (including information about their affiliation and contribution, i.e., who is the author of the concept, assumptions, methods, report and other elements used in the preparation of the publication); however, the author submitting the manuscript is the main responsible person.

The Editors stipulate that “ghostwriting” and “guest authorship” are signs of scientific dishonesty; in case of detection of such, institutions employing these authors will be notified.

The Editors request the submission of a financial disclosure report and information about the contribution of research institutions, associations and other entities.

The text should be submitted in English. The work should also comply with potential statutory requirements for an original research paper, a review paper, a research statement, a gloss or a legal commentary, a scientific review, a case study or a popular science paper.

The authors are also obligated to submit, within the deadlines specified by the editors, a licence agreement (pdf) and a “ghostwriting” and “guest authorship” statement (pdf) to the e-mail address of the Editors (with a digital copy or a scan of the document sent to the e-mail address of the Editors).

The Editors reserve the right to proofread linguistic and technical aspects of the work submitted for publication within the scope not violating personal rights of authors and to refuse its publication if the work is not assessed as at least good in the course of the review process.

The Author’s failure to submit author’s corrections within the required time-limit shall mean his/her consent to the publication of the text in its current form.

The authors and reviewers that are not familiar with the OJS system are advised to follow the instructions concerning the use of the CzasKUL Platform.
