Abstract

Ausgegangen wird im Artikel von einer Umschreibung der absoluten und relativen Chronologie. Darauf folgt ein Versuch der Feststellung von zwei Daten, die von Seiten der römischen Geschichte als ziemlich sicher gelten (aus der Amtszeit des Prokonsul Gallio von Achaia und Festus in Caesarea). Der Vergleich mit Mitteilungen aus der Apostelgeschichte und Nachrichten von Paulus selbst in seinen Briefen führt dann folgerichtig zu Ergebnissen, die eine kleine temporale Biegsamkeit mit einschließen. Diese Methode nennt der Verf. „eine junktive Chronologie”.
