Dziewictwo w greckiej terminologii biblijnej

Abstract

Der Verfasser hat die Bedeutung der griechischen Worte, die von den Mädchen und ihrer Keuschheit (Jungfräulichkeit): neanis, paidiske oder pais, nymfe, kore und parthenos sagen, ebenso wie ihr Hervortreten in der Griechenwelt und in Septuaginta besprochen. Viel Aufmerksamkeit hat er dem Worte parthenos in Septuaginta, und besonders in Is. 7, 14 gewidmet. Nach der Besprechung anderer Worte im Neuen Testament hat er sich gleich falls mit dem Wort parthenos im Ganzen und mit demselben Wort parthenos im Verhältnis zu den Männern, sowie mit dem Ausdruck der Jungfräulichkeit durch das Wort eunouchos, eunouchizein befaßt. Die Bemühungen der neutestamentlichen Verfasser, um mit der griechischen Terminologie die uns interessierende Probleme auszudrücken, das war das neue, das außerhalb Lehre hat das Christentum in die hellenistische Welt eingeführt.
