Jerome of Stridon, "Prologues to the Commentary on the Book of Zechariah (translation into Polish)
Abstract
In the autumn of 406, St. Jerome wrote a three-book commentary on the Old Testament prophet Zechariah for St. Exuperius. He prefaced each book with a short prologue addressed to the Bishop of Toulouse. This article presents a translation of these three praefationes. The translation is preceded by an introduction that outlines the issues encountered when reading them.
