Publishing Schedule
“Zeszyty Naukowe Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego Jana Pawła II” is a peer-reviewed academic quarterly.
he journal publishes four issues each calendar year:
issue 1 – March;
issue 2 – June;
issue 3 – September;
issue 4 – December.
Each calendar year corresponds to one volume of the journal.
Submitting Manuscripts
The Editorial Office accepts manuscripts for regular issues on a rolling basis throughout the year. Submitting an article does not depend on an open call being announced or on the closing date of a particular issue.
Separate submission deadlines may apply to thematic or special issues. Information about such calls is published in the “News” tab.
Online First
Articles that have successfully completed peer review, been accepted for publication, and finished editorial preparation are published on a rolling basis in the Online First section, without having to wait for the release of a complete issue.
Publication in the Online First section constitutes a fully valid scholarly publication. The article receives a DOI and may be cited before it is assigned to a specific issue.
Articles published in the Online First section are subsequently assigned to forthcoming issues in accordance with the journal's publishing schedule.
Publishing articles via Online First does not change the quarterly frequency at which complete issues are released.
