The educational aspects in the philosophical writings of Plato and of the Christian authors of the 4th century (St. Augustine, St. Jerome)

Il presente studio ci fa convincere che per i Padri della Chiesa in confronto di Platone l'educazione dei bambini e della gioventu costituiva il primario dovere dei genitori. Platone prima di tutto attribuiva questo ruolo allo stato. Il processo educativo il quale esige le capacita del modo psicologico del trattare dell'uomo dovrebbe riguardare tutti e svolgersi all’altissimo livello. Perció e molto importante la scelta dei adeguati educatori e dei maestri ed anche la necessita dell’interessamento del bambino da parte dei genitori. La mancanza di questo riflette negativamente sulla psicologia del bambino causando un negativo adattamento alla vita nella societa umana.
