Chrześcijański lider biznesu
Ireneusz Mroczkowski
Abstract
25 years after the political transformation in Poland it comes time to assess reforms and attitudes of enterprising people. A role of business leaders turns out to be particularly important in a formation of the common good, inclusive of workplaces created by them and the active fight against poverty. On the basis of the newest social documents of the Catholic Church, author of the article considers an influence of the globalization and financialisation on the conditions in which Polish entrepreneurs function. For Christian business leaders particularly important are fundamental and practical principles of business which result from the human dignity, common good and from the justice and subsidiarity. A contemporary context of their realization requires an association of the knowledge and spirituality, to which the spirituality of St. Ignatius was and is open. In the article the author points to the activity of the young Christian business leaders in Poland who search an inspiration in books of Chris Lowney.
