Adolf Hytrek war Priester der Diozese Breslau. Geboren am 17 VI1853 im Dorf Oberwitz (Obrowiec), das damals zur Pfarrei Jaschona (Jasiona) bei GroG Strehlitz gehorte. Seine Eltern waren: Peter und Susanne Loss. Er hatte vier Schwestern und drei Briider. Kusin war der Priester Viktor Loss, Publizist und Sozialaktivist in Schlesien.
