About the journal
LingBaW. Linguistics Beyond and Within is a peer-reviewed online journal, published annually since 2015 (every year in December) by the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland. Dedicated to advancing research and discourse within the field of linguistics, LingBaW serves as a platform for the dissemination of innovative theoretical insights, empirical findings and methodological advancements. Every volume features original contributions from established scholars and emerging researchers from around the world, who represent a broad spectrum of research areas in linguistics, such as syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics and phonology, corpus studies, language teaching, pragmatics, discourse analysis, translation studies, sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics. Recognising the importance of accessibility and dissemination of knowledge, LingBaW maintains an open-access policy, facilitating the global exchange of ideas and contributing to the advancement of knowledge beyond and within the discipline of linguistics.
In accordance with the Act of 26 January 1984 – Press Law, the journal was registered by the District Court in Lublin in the register of newspapers and journals under item 1581.
