Abstract

The article contains a Polish translation of the eighth dialogue from the Corpus Hermeticum collection. The translation has an introduction and commentary that includes a Latin version of the text from the fifteenth century. The content of Corpus Hermeticum VIII refers to the concept of death. The text contains components of both Platonic and Stoic provenance, at the same time indicating that no being is subject to annihilation.
