"Ukryję przed nimi swe oblicze". Sens perykopy Pwt 32, 19-21

Urszula Szwarc

Abstract

Analysis of the lines from Dt 32, 19:21 points that the “hiding” of Yahweh’s face from Israel seems to be identical with the future taking over the place and role of the people of God from the Old Testament by an unknown community. This decision made by the Lord of history does not bear the character of His requital. Its purpose is to make Israel repent.
