Przy świętym stole. Część ofiar należna kapłanom według pierwszych siedmiu rozdziałów Księgi Kapłańskiej
Abstrakt
Od czasu, kiedy za składanie ofiar odpowiedzialni byli specjalnie do tego celu wyznaczeni kapłani, część z ofiar przeznaczona była także na ich utrzymanie oraz na funkcjonowanie świątyń czy świątyni (w tym także na potrzeby pozostałego personelu świątynnego, w szczególności Lewitów). Według Talmudu kapłani otrzymywali w sumie aż dwadzieścia cztery rodzaje udziałów w ofiarach składanych przez Izraelitów. W Biblii brak jednak pełnego, wewnętrznie spójnego i wyczerpującego kodeksu ofiarniczego, brak także katalogu przynależnych kapłanom prebend oraz zbioru reguł określających, w jaki sposób kapłan mógł spożytkować należne mu zyski z ofiar. Przepisy dotyczące tych kwestii są rozproszone w różnych fragmentach kodeksów dotyczących rytuałów ofiarniczych i odzwierciedlają różne etapy kształtowania się tradycji i prawa. Jednym z przykładów tego typu regulacji jest fragment Księgi Kapłańskiej (por. Kpł 1-7), ukazujący pierwsze próby regulacji funkcjonowania Świątyni Jerozolimskiej po powrocie kapłanów i elit judeiskich z deportacji babilońskiej, mieszanie się wpływów obcych kultur, nawiązywanie do tradycji przedwygnaniowych oraz próby naprawy zastanego stanu rzeczy. Artykuł koncentrując się na przepisach dotyczących prebend kapłańskich, kreśli równocześnie szersze ich tło oraz próbuje odkryć motywacje kierujące prawodawcami.
