Text as a Score: On the Benefits of Ingarden’s Concept of the Concretization of a Literary Work

The main theme of the article is to reexamine Roman Ingarden’s concept of the concretization of a literary work, which can be perceived as a pioneering from the vantage point of the hermeneutical interpretation of literary works. By providing a structural analysis of Ryszard Krynicki's poem “W tym roku” (This year), the author points to the benefits of using Ingarden’s concept of engaged and careful reading of a literary work. The article also includes intertextual references to the transactional method of interpreting literary texts as it is expounded by Michał Januszkiewicz and to Jan Zieliński’s book Magiczne Oświecenie (Magical Enlightenment).
