Eros and Agape in Janusz Stanisław Pasierb’s Lyrical Poetry

Abstract
In his poetry, Pasierb provides a christological hermeneutic of the category of amor. Its classical renditions are treated by him as specific prefigurations of Love personified by Christ. In his poetic hermeneutic of classical symbols and allegories, he uses various archetypes present in culture and interprets symbols through the prism of other myths and iconographic or literary representations, and in particular through the prism of modern theology.
