Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyse the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on migration in the European Union. The paper studies the nature of migration with reference to individual social groups (migrant workers, students and persons seeking international protection). The article also presents a discussion on the EU’s response to changes in the phenomenon in question caused by the pandemic and the effects that these changes might have in the future.
