As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not currently under consideration by another journal
  • The manuscript is entirely original and does not infringe the rights of third parties
  • All information regarding the contribution of other individuals and institutions to the creation of the manuscript, as well as its sources of funding, has been disclosed
  • All information enabling the identification of the author(s) has been removed from the submission file
  • The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the requirements set out in the Author Guidelines
  • No artificial intelligence tools were used in the preparation of the manuscript, or their use has been appropriately disclosed and justified
  • The Author(s) declare(s) that they hold the rights to the materials included in the work (e.g. texts, photographs, maps, plans, etc.) and that their use in the work does not infringe any third-party rights


The Editorial Team accepts only manuscripts that meet the standards of publication ethics in accordance with COPE guidelines (COPE procedure used by the Editorial Team). Submissions are subject to verification using the anti-plagiarism software iThenticate.

Manuscripts should be written in Polish or English and must  not exceed 40,000 characters including spaces and footnotes. 

Manuscripts should be submitted in the following formats: OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect via CzasKUL platform (see: Author Guide).

The submitted manuscript should include: 

  • Title of the article (in Polish and English)
  • The text itself comprising of an introduction, the main body divided into paragraphs and sections and a conclusion
  • Reference list which includes all references cited in the text in the alphabetical order, 
  • Summary both in Polish and English
  • 3 - 5 keywords both in Polish and English

An Author note should be submitted in a separate file. It should include:

1) author’s name and academic degree/title;
2) affiliation;
3) main areas of study;
4) email address;
5) ORCID ID (for affiliated authors).

NOTE!
The text of the article should be formatted in a way that does not provide any information that could expose the identity of the author.

Formatting style:

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Line spacing: 1,5 pt
  • Font size: 12 pt, title bolded
  • Footnotes and reference list created according to APA style 7th edition (see: guide EN)
  • All diagrams, figures and graphs included in the text (not at the end) should have a title and number (e.g. Table 1 – Title), which should be placed above the graphic element. The source should be acknowledged below.
  • Drawings, graphics, patterns, etc., should be uploaded as separate pdf or jpg files for each object.

The Editorial Team reserves the right to return the manuscript to the Author for correction or to refuse the publication if the Author does not follow the above mentioned guidelines. The Editors have the right to reduce and make corrections in the article. Before publication, the author receives the text for so-called author's proof reading. Not sending it back within the given deadline means that the Author accepts the manuscript in the form that has been sent to him.

The reviewing process is consistent with the recommendations for review procedures in science described by the Ministry of Science of Higher Education. Reviewers are independent researchers with institutional affiliations that are different to that of the Author. The manuscript may be published if it receives two positive reviews.

The Editorial Team makes the final decision regarding the publication of the text.
