Abstract
The article attempts a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the current legal regulations implemented in order to ensure taking part in activities within water tourism safely. The analysis takes into account the amendments that took place in recent years regarding various types of vessels, especially inland and sea yachts. Part 2 indicates technical requirements that a vessel must meet and safety measures it must be equipped with.
