There is no doubt that Petrażycki’s theory became a strong spur to develop Russian philosophy of law. Its originality and creative potential caused huge interest among many eminent Russian philosophers, which put the theory to detailed analysis. Petrażycki’s theory, as an inspiration for philosophers and theorists, became a necessary spur to develop law not only in Russia but also in other countries all over the world – which the author has proved in the article.
