Customers’ attitude to the transformation of retail trade in podkarpackie voivodeship
Abstract
Customers’ opinion about transformation that covers changes in quantity of the retail outlets, their ownership, format and size were presented in the paper. The clients also assessed investment processes taken by entities with foreign capital. There was taken an attempt to make some conclusion about the level in which the foreign retailers can constitute the threat for much smaller Polish units. The obtained results are also the base to claim that the consumers perceived the transformation as a positive process. They emphasized the necessity of future changes in the sphere of quality of the retail trade, however, they limited support for the continuous development in quantity of the outlets.
