The legal status of the unborn at UN human rights system

This article concerns the legal status of the unborn in the documents of the UN human rights. Analysis of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child allows you to specify the scope of protection of the unborn in those documents. An important issue in this article is an attempt to establish an initial limit of human life and to draw attention to the problem of legalizing abortion.
