The analysis of the risks of the environment in Poland - the protection of soils

In this article the author takes the considerations concerning the analysis of threats from the environment in Poland and soil protection. It also indicates that the legal in struments for the protection of the earth’s surface are not very consistent. But the most important role is played by the Environmental Protection Act, which presentsthe general objectives of soil protection, and refers to other legislation such aszoning plan and management plan for degraded land, and restricting theavailability of regulatory powers to use the earth’s surface such as soil quality standards, reclamation decisions, consent for change of land use and permit the exclusion of land from production, as well as to the Law on the Protection ofagricultural and forest land, the Law on spatial planning and management, andothers.
