About the Journal

Based on the decision of the Faculty Council at the Off-Campus Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in Stalowa Wola Przegląd Prawno-Ekonomiczny ('Review of Law, Business & Economics' in English) was founded on  21st of May 2007. Since October 2019 the Editorial Team operates in Lublin, within the Institute of Economics and Finance at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.

Przegląd Prawno-Ekonomiczny quarterly publishes  theoretical and practical academic research in law, economics, finance, and management. The Journal provides a platform to discuss current problems in these fields, both for Polish and international researchers.

By the decision of the Publisher, from 2022 onwards, Przegląd Prawno-Ekonomiczny is published only in electronic format.

The journal is published quarterly, with issues published by the end of March, June, September and December of a certain year respectively. Submissions are admitted on a continuous basis.

The journal publishes selected articles in Online First mode. Articles accepted for publication in this mode appear in an ongoing manner and may be cited with a DOI number.

The journal was included in the List of Journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on 18 December 2019 (heading No. 28589). For the purpose of evaluation, authors receive 40 points for publishing an article in the Journal. The journal is indexed in BazEkon (database on economic and related sciences), The Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (CEJSH), Biblioteka Nauki (Library of Science), European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS), Polska Bibliografia Naukowa (PBN), Sherpa Romeo, Arianta (Scientific and professional Polish electronic journals), MOST Wiedzy (Bridge of Knowledge) and Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

The Editorial Team accepts original articles both in English and Polish that present thorough scientific research and respect ethical standards.  Publishing work in Przegląd Prawno-Ekonomiczny is free of charge.

The journal has started publishing archive issues (from 2007-2019) in 2024. As the contents of the archive issues are published in their original version, due to changing guidelines from the Editorial Board, older texts may have limited metadata and English translations.
Due to clarification of copyright aspects, full-text versions are only made available for some of the publications included in the archival issues of Przegląd Prawno-Ekonomiczny. This resource will be expanded as licences are obtained from authors to publish further texts in this form.
