Estetyka i teologia – próba określenia przestrzeni interakcji
Abstrakt
Współczesność, określana mianem postmodernizmu jest epoką, w której kategorie estetyczne są szczególnie istotne. Związane jest to z mocnym ukierunkowaniem współczesnej egzystencji na aspekt doświadczenia. Taki klimat współczesności wpływa również na teologię, sprawiając, że kategorie estetyczne stają się w niej coraz bardziej dowartościowane. Niemniej właściwe uestetycznienie teologii wymaga prawidłowego opracowania metodologicznego. Zakres zainteresowań estetyki jest bardzo rozległy, a samo rozumienie kategorii estetycznych, w tym także kategorii piękna, w różny sposób było pojmowane na przestrzeni wieków. Twórcze wykorzystanie piękna w teologii domaga się z tego względu wstępnego określenia rodzajów interakcji estetyki i teologii.
Artykuł jest próbą określenia różnych sposobów wchodzenia obu dziedzin w dialog, w aspekcie historycznym i systematycznym, z uwzględnieniem otwartych problemów wzajemnej interakcji.
