Real Presence, Sacramentality and the Sinodal Path in Germany

Abstract
Bishop Stefan Oster, a member of the german Synodal Path, gives an insight into his critical view of the reform project and recalls the standards of the scholastic theological disputation, which first embraces the arguments of the opponents and only afterwards
enters into a critical debate with them. His suggestion ist, that renewal and spiritual conversion should come first and foremoste from the encounter with the living Christ.
