Postscriptum on research on manuscripts of the Chronicle of Martinus Polonus in polish collections: Ms 189 Archdiocesan Archives and Chapter Library in Wrocław

Abstract
The Chronicle of Popes and Emperors by Martin the Pole (of Oppavia) is the most popular universal chronicle of medieval Latin culture. Its manuscript tradition in Poland was analysed in a monograph published by the author of this article in 1995. Meanwhile, another complete copy of the chronicle was discovered during work on the inventory of medieval manuscripts in Polish collections (Manuscripta.pl) - Ms 189 of the Archdiocesan Archives and Chapter Library in Wrocław. The purpose of this article is to describe and analyse the newly discovered manuscript and to compare the results of this analysis with previous research on the entire manuscript tradition in the Kingdom of Poland, Silesia and Pomerania. The research coducted, including statistical analysis of the similarity coefiicient of manuscripts, set Ms 189 in one of three branches of the manuscript tradition, placing it in close proximity to three other codices of Silesian and Kraków provenance. All calculations showed a similarity coefficient in the range of 0.75-0.64 (where 0 indicates a complete lack of convergence and 1 indicates identical text). A side effect of the procedure was confirmation of the correctness of the originality adopted research methodology.
