Abstract

In Poland, “security” is mainly understood as personal an national security. Economic security is ensured just by protecting property and by protecting the network. Other elements of ensuring security are ignored as exaggerated or too expensive. It is very irresponsible because economic success depends a lot on quick access to information. That is why ensuring economic security is as important as professional managers, stable financial condition and strong market position. Economic security is connected with fulfilling concerning enterprise’s activity. Security of the personnel – employees’ verification due to their responsibility, character and their past. The security of paper documents is also very important. The network security and electronic documents is significant as well. Awareness of possible phone tapping, especially during phone calls by mobile phones, should cause careful phones using, turning them off and even putting them outside the room in which there are essential secret conversations made. Ensuring economic security is very difficult, expensive, but extremely important, and it will be of great importance in enterprise’s activity.
