Abstract

The subject of the publication deals with the origins of humans presented on the basis of the Neolithic events described as the “great leap” or “Neolithic revolution”, signaling in this way not only the uniqueness of human existence, but also the distinctiveness of humans against the background of natural development. The revolution of becoming human is the rise of a being capable of reflecting on oneself and on the surrounding world. The evidence of the Neolithic revolution is apparent, among other things, in the development of agriculture and the settled lifestyle of people. Radical transformation is the process of “crossing” the biological threshold. The factor that caused this great leap is seen in information. Information has become the foundation for the interpretation of events, processes, organizations in the world; it has become a factor used in the explication of the genesis of physical, biological and anthropological systems. Hypothetically, we assume that in the events of the Neolithic Period, the genetic information obtained a new extra-genetic quality.

Keywords:

neolithic revolution, genetic information, extra-genetic information
